Wishing Wands
Materials Needed:
- Cookie Mold
- Delight
- Acrylic paints and brushes
- Ribbon to embellish
- Cornstarch
- 12 inch long 1/8 inch diameter dowel
- Ribbon to wrap dowel
- Beads, buttons, charms, etc. to decorate
Directions
- Roll out a flat pancake of Delight.
- Brush selected mold with cornstarch.
- Press mold into rolled out Delight.
- Lift Mold and trim edges.
- Put in a cool dry place to dry for about 24 hours.
- Press a small grove in the back of the casting where you want to attach the dowel.
- Hot Glue the dowel in place.
- Hot glue the end of the ribbon on the backside of the casting. Place a tiny bead of hot glue down the length of the wand and immediately wind the ribbon around the dowel to cover.
- Tie on decorative ribbons hanging at different lengths.
